This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit HeatherAngela.com (the “Site”), purchase our products, contact us, create an account, or otherwise interact with us.
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Site and related online services.

- Information you provide when contacting customer service or submitting a contact form
- Communications and other information you choose to provide to us

When you make a purchase, your payment information is processed through the payment service or payment processor available at checkout.
HeatherAngela does not generally receive or store your complete credit or debit card number. Payment providers may collect and process payment information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

- Device and operating-system information
- Referring website or page
- Pages viewed and features used

- General information about interactions with the Site
This information may be collected through cookies, server logs, and similar technologies.

We may use personal information to:

- Create and maintain customer accounts
- Provide and improve the Site, products, and customer experience

- Maintain business, accounting, tax, and transaction records
- Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations
- Enforce our policies and protect our legal rights
- Send promotional communications when permitted by law and consistent with your preferences
- Analyze Site performance and understand how visitors use the Site
We seek to collect and use personal information reasonably appropriate to these purposes.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site and service providers supporting it may use cookies and similar technologies.
These technologies may be used to:
- Keep the Site functioning properly
- Maintain your shopping cart and checkout session
- Remember preferences
- Support security and fraud prevention
- Understand Site traffic and performance
- Provide analytics, personalization, or marketing functionality, if enabled
You may be able to control cookies through your browser or device settings. Blocking certain cookies may prevent portions of the Site, including shopping-cart or checkout features, from functioning properly.
If we implement additional cookie-consent or privacy-choice tools, you may also use those tools to manage applicable preferences.
How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to service providers and other parties when reasonably necessary to operate HeatherAngela and provide our services.
These may include providers that assist with:
- Website hosting and ecommerce technology
- Payment processing
- Order processing and fulfillment
- Shipping and delivery
- Customer communications
- Website security and fraud prevention
- Analytics and Site performance
- Email and marketing services
- Accounting, legal, tax, and other professional services
We may also disclose personal information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, or governmental requests; investigate or prevent fraud or security incidents; enforce our agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of HeatherAngela, our customers, or others.
If HeatherAngela is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
Order Fulfillment and Shipping
We may provide information necessary to fulfill your purchase to suppliers, order-fulfillment providers, shipping carriers, and other businesses involved in processing or delivering your order.
This information may include your name, shipping address, contact information, and relevant order details.
These businesses may process information under their own privacy policies and contractual or legal obligations.
Sale and Use of Personal Information for Advertising
HeatherAngela does not sell personal information for monetary compensation.
Some privacy laws define the terms “sale,” “sharing,” or similar concepts more broadly than an exchange of information for money. Certain advertising, analytics, or website technologies may therefore be treated differently under applicable law.
If HeatherAngela engages in activities that give you a legal right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, or certain profiling, we will provide the choices required by applicable law.
This is one of the most important changes from my first draft. I would not simply say “we do not sell your personal information.” Oregon, for example, regulates sale and targeted advertising separately and requires covered businesses to honor qualifying opt-out signals.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for legitimate business purposes, including fulfilling orders, maintaining transaction and accounting records, providing customer service, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, and satisfying legal, tax, or regulatory obligations.
Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the information and applicable requirements.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with applicable law and our business practices.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.
However, no method of transmitting information over the Internet and no electronic storage system is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You may contact us to request assistance regarding personal information associated with your interactions with HeatherAngela.
Depending on where you reside and whether applicable privacy law applies to HeatherAngela, you may have rights concerning your personal information, which may include rights to:
- Request access to certain personal information
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion of certain personal information
- Obtain a copy of certain personal information
- Opt out of certain uses or disclosures of personal information
These rights are subject to applicable law, exceptions, and verification requirements.
We may retain information when permitted or required by law, including information necessary for transaction records, tax and accounting obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or compliance with legal requirements.
This formulation is better than promising every visitor a statutory access/deletion regime regardless of jurisdiction. If HeatherAngela eventually reaches Oregon’s OCPA thresholds, the policy and site controls should be reviewed again because covered businesses have more specific notice, request, opt-out, and response obligations.
Marketing Communications
If you subscribe to promotional emails from HeatherAngela, you may unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link included in those communications.
Opting out of promotional communications does not prevent us from sending transactional or service-related communications, such as order confirmations, shipping information, account notices, or responses to customer-service requests.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 in circumstances requiring parental consent. If we become aware that we have collected such information in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us.
That’s more precise than saying simply “we don’t collect from children.” COPPA focuses on sites directed to children under 13 and general-audience operators with actual knowledge they’re collecting children’s personal information.
Third-Party Websites and Services
The Site may contain links to or integrate with websites, platforms, payment services, or other services operated by third parties.
We do not control the privacy or security practices of third parties. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies and terms, and we encourage you to review those policies when interacting with third-party services.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, services, technology, or legal requirements.
When we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the Last Updated date at the top of this page. Material changes may be communicated in additional ways when appropriate or required by law.
